| Services Offered: | Active Friends - Our volunteers help senior citizens who would like to get out more and join a group activity but lack the confidence to do so by themselves.
Befriending - Our volunteers visit isolated senior citizens in their homes on a regular basis. BME Project - Working with local black and minority ethnic community groups and promoting volunteering opportunities. Computer Classes - For beginners and improvers. Day Centres - Padwell Road Day Care Centre and the Suhana Asian Elders Centre. Gardening Service - A subsidised service for those who can no longer manage their gardens. Health and Wellbeing - Aims to improve the general health and wellbeing of people in Southampton. Information and Advice - On any issue related to ageing. Life to the Full - Helping over 50s to get involved in activities in the local area. Have fun, make friends and try something new. Volunteering - We offer a number of rewarding opportunities to get involved in our work. |
