If you are aged between 16 and 24, and in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component, you may be eligible for help towards the cost of driving lessons provided through BSM.

As a partner to Motability, we offer specially trained instructors and adapted cars to ensure you enjoy a smooth and successful learning experience.

As the UK’s most popular driving school, we will ensure you always learn with the SAME fully qualified (Advanced Driving Institute accredited) driving instructor. You can further increase your chance of passing with a host of additional learning tools, including IPhone Apps, CD ROMs and Theory books that will give you the best possible chance of passing.

Services Offered: *Who are Motability and what do they offer?

The Motability scheme is the UK’s leading car scheme for disabled people. It provides affordable, convenient, trouble-free motoring to approximately 500,000 disabled customers and their families. As part of the Motability car scheme the Charity offers grants for people between 16 and 24 to take driving lessons.

  • How are BSM and Motability connected?

BSM has a long legacy of dedication and passion in providing the opportunity for disabled people to gain their independence as drivers. As a result, BSM and Motability have formed a partnership to make the driving learning process easier and more affordable, with the shared ambition to develop better and safer drivers.

  • How can BSM and Motability help me as a learner?

Motability offer a grant to eligible 16-24 year olds known as the ‘Motability Learner Course’. The following is included:

  • Α 2-hour Trial Lesson
  • 18 hours to take customer up to Theory Test
  • On successful completion of the theory test the customer is provided with 20 hours more tuition in readiness for the Practical Test.

BSM is the number one choice for disabled driving tuition with over 240 vehicles which are specifically modified to cater for all manner of disabilities. As well as this the highly experienced and empathetic instructors and admin team ensure the customers receive the best possible service and tuition.
