| What We Do: | The Buzz Network arose around the theme of parent particiaption. Many families were not getting any sort of break and the overwhelming theme from consultation with parents is that they wanted more flexible and individual care. Aiming High for Disabled Children gave councils money for familes to have 'short breaks' and the Buzz Network was a part of how Southampton City Council provided new and additional services which families badly needed.
The Buzz Network is co-ordinated through the City's Children and Young People's Service. If your child(ren) are not signed up already you can do so through this site or phoning the number below. If you want to speak to a fellow parent about services please contact the A-buzz forum. Please note: due to the huge number of families signing up for the Services there may now be a 'waiting time'. |
