| What We Do: | Fairthorne Manor is based at a 111 acre rural site in the village of Curdridge in Hampshire. The site is bordered by the upper reaches of the River Hamble, with direct access to the River being an important factor in our activity programmes.
Fairthorne Manor site is well equipped with a range of outdoor activity facilities, environmental discovery and play activities. With over sixty years experience at running adventure programmes for children, Fairthorne Manor is, of course, experienced at providing additional assistance for children and young people with additional needs.

| Services Offered: | Fancy paddling a kayak around the water? Maybe sailing is more your thing, or perhaps you would enjoy a happy variety of activities? Whatever takes your fancy, Fairthorne Manor has a club to suit you and your family and to help you spend some time together participating in fun, healthy activities.
Paddles Up Paddles Up is a popular club for all those kayaking fans! •Every Thursday between 22 April and 23 September •1800 - 1930•Kayaking on the lake•All abilities welcome•Develop paddle skills •Build confidence•Play games The whole family is welcome at Paddles Up. Sessions cost £4 per person per session and there is no need to book in advance. Paddle Sport Courses Paddle Sports are back by popular demand. Paddle Sport Courses are for those who are after some more structured Kayaking skills development. •Develop flat water skills•Sessions on the lake and the river•Work towards Paddle Power Awards•Potential to achieve British Canoe Union 2* Award •18 hours of water time per course The seven sessions are programmed for September into October. The cost is £80 per person for the whole course. Family Club We're sure that many families can appreciate how difficult it is to find fun, low cost and healthy activities to get children away from the games console every now and again and spend time as a family! The club involves; •Visiting Fairthorne Manor one Sunday per month •Meeting other like minded families •Trying out new activities The types of activities will vary throughout the year and can include; •Outdoor adventure activities •Camp craft •BBQ and Lake Regatta •Team building activities The cost is £21 per family per month based on up to two adults and three children. Onboard YMCA Fairthorne Manor and the RYA are happy to announce that the Onboard scheme is now running at Fairthorne Manor. The scheme is available for children aged 8 - 16 of all abilities. Young people will follow a well planned programme that is adapted to suit individual needs. ‘Onboard’ is a nationwide programme, providing the opportunity for young people to learn how to sail in a safe, relaxed and fun enviroment.The next Onboard course is yet to be confirmed and will cost just £80 for 13 hours of sessions on the water.
