| Services Offered: | Groundswell is a charity offering befriending and practical support to people living with or affected by HIV and AIDS in the South Hants area. The service is free, confidential and provided by trained volunteers.
Groundswell provides outreach services to anyone affected by HIV. Here are some examples of the help that we can offer.
We are also able to make occasional small grants to help meet financial needs and where necessary may be able to help with transport. We accept referrals from the person themselves or from any other source, with the person’s permission. Support is offered at any stage.Some individuals may need support around initial diagnosis and visits to the hospital. Others may ask for support when they are unwell. We can also provide support to family and friends where this is appropriate. |
