| What We Do: | Welcome to the Polygon School. Our school has a long tradition of being able to work with pupils for whom mainstream education is not appropriate. We consider each pupil to have individual needs and therefore, the way the school works with each pupil may be different.
The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum within the framework of the National Curriculum. We have a team of dedicated Assistants who work alongside pupils, supporting and monitoring their progress. |

We aim: •To help pupils to be physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually healthy, so that they lead healthy lifestyles and make healthy choices. •To provide a safe and secure environment, free from maltreatment, neglect, exploitation, violence, bullying and discrimination so that pupil experience stability and security. •To support pupils in their transition into adult life so that they can enjoy decent housing and lifestyles and provide for themselves and their families. •To encourage pupils to attend school and achieve personally, socially and academically, and enjoy their leisure time. •To support pupils to engage in decision-making processes, developing self-confidence, positive relationships, enterprising and social behaviour. |
