What We Do: ServiceCall is a system designed to make it easier for a person with limited mobility (or a parent carer who cannot leave a child/young person in the car alone) to use petrol stations, banks, supermarkets, shops and many other services. ServiceCall is a a way for a disabled driver or wheelchair/scooter user to call for service at premises where access or use of the service being provided is difficult or impossible.

  • How ServiceCall works

ServiceCall Transmitter By aiming and pressing the button on the small infra-red ServiceCall transmitter.

The transmitter has a line of sight range of approximately 50 metres; if you can see it you can trigger it.

  • ServiceCall Receiver

At a ServiceCall receiver in a petrol station, bank, supermarket, chemist etc attended service will be provided by the outlet.

The receiver will flash several times to confirm the transmitter signal has been received and at the same time will bleep inside to alert staff.

  • ServiceCall Radio Receiver

A RADIO version of the receiver is also available which allows the bleeper to be positioned up to 50 metres away from the receiver anywhere in the building. Ideal if either staff are not near the window receiver or it is the responsibility of other staff to provide assistance. (a 200metre version is available at extra cost). The bleeper continues to bleep until reset so ensuring staff respond.
