Shopmobility (Southampton City)

We offer daily hire of manual and electric wheelchairs and scooters for use in Southampton Town Centre area as well as a `Shopping Companion` service. There is a small charge of £2.50 for members and £3.50 for non members(annual membership £7.50). We also offer extended hire of manual wheelchairs for longer periods for people to use at home and on holiday. Our car park is fully accessible and can accomodate larger vehicles such as vans and minibuses

We are in easy reach of both West Quay Shopping centre which is situated opposite our building and the new Southampton IKEA which is just a short scooters ride down the road.

Our equipment includes heavy duty vehicles. We also provide a Shopping Companion service, and a child's wheelchair enabling those people with visual impairment, or mobility impairment to be accompanied and assisted with their shopping needs.

In addition to the above services which are offered on a daily basis, City Shopmobility also provides longer term Hire of manual wheelchairs. This service gives customers greater flexibility, as they can loan the wheelchair for longer periods. Its ideal if you are going away on holiday or on a cruise.

Delivery can also be arranged for longer term hire at an extra charge to cruise terminals or other locations.

Please note the car park is for Shopmobility customers only, even if you have a Blue Badge you have to be using Shopmobility
