What We Do: The South Hampshire Deaf Children's Society offer friendship and advice to families with deaf children in South Hampshire.

Originally called Southampton Deaf Children's Society, the group has now been helping deaf children and their families since it was started in 1960.

Our aims are:

  • To offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication.
  • Provide social activites where deaf children and their families can meet with each other.
  • To ensure that families of deaf children have access to information about edcuation, technology and services.
  • To campaign for the rights of deaf children.
