| Services Offered: | Dorcas Project provides basic furniture and household items to individuals and families who are suffering poverty and disadvantage who live in Southampton and the surrounding area. This is not a direct assess project - everyone we help is referred to us by one of our recognised agencies to ensure that there is a genuine need.
Removals - SCRATCH is able to help individuals and families who need to move in an emergency for reasons such as domestic violence, racial harassment, ill health etc. Repaint Scheme - the scheme provides a means of distributing surplus paint for use by disadvantaged people, charities, voluntary and community groups. Paint is free for referred clients or to people with proof of means tested benefits. We do ask for a small donation from community groups.
