| Services Offered: | In the woodwork area, items are made for the shop by the service users. Service users can also make items for their own use if they wish.Please note that any orders placed with us are produced on a casual basis and generally, no completion time is given, with this approach, no pressure is exerted to complete any tasks.
There are 2 smaller areas within the workshop, solely for the manufacture and packing of kindling wood, the wood is sawn into fixed lengths by the users, sent to the packing area and put into polythene bags. This process is ongoing throughout the year. Upstairs on the mezzanine floor is an area used for small assembly tasks. In the mechanical section, users strip down mechanical bits and pieces, photo-copiers, old VCR’s, cars that are donated for stripping down etc. Some wrought iron work is also made to order here too. The shop at 43b Bridge Road Woolston is normally operated by one staff member with one or more users.
