The Asperger's Syndrome Foundation

Name of Organisation: The Asperger's Syndrome Foundation
Headline:
What We Do: The Asperger's Syndrome Foundation is a small Registered Charity based in London, England. Founded and currently chaired by Beatrice Buisseret, it was established in 2002 with the support of parents whose sons/daughters have Asperger's Syndrome.

It was developed as a result of parents experiencing a lack of specialist and quality support or services for children and adults with this condition.

Prior to the registration of the charity, the Founder showed her commitment in addressing this deficit by raising funds to sponsor the first accredited Post Graduate course in Asperger's Syndrome. This course, which began in September 2003, is offered in satellite venues around the country (see Training Seminars for details).
