Unity 12

Unity 12’s mission is twofold:

• To create a unique facility where Disabled People can access all their Independent Living needs under one roof

• To provide high quality, high specification, fully accessible conference and meeting facilities at a price that community groups can afford. “Stadium Quality at Church Hall Prices!”

• Hampshire Coalition of Disabled People (HCODP)

The aims of Unity 12 are:

To develop a ‘one-stop-shop’ for Disabled People wishing to live independently; consisting of a fully accessible building which provides a range of different services, provided by different tenant organisations which support people to live independently.

To provide accessible conference facilities, meeting rooms and ancillary services to enable other organisations to be more inclusive of Disabled People in the services they provide.

To provide fully accessible and cost effective office space, to enable tenant organisations to provide appropriate complementary services that support Disabled People to live independently. (We prefer tenant organisations to be ‘user-led’ themselves)
